Sheila Botton is your guide and a “Curaçao Connoisseur”. She is the director of Events Curaçao magazine, a trusted source and a guide for travelers in Curaçao since 2008. Sheila regularly returned to Curaçao, hence, discovering its unique beauty and character on so many levels and she finally moved to the island in 2018 with her husband and 3 children. Nestled between Aruba and Bonaire, Curaçao offers perfect weather almost 365 days a year, gorgeous beaches and sparkling crystal-clear waters. Curaçao is also different from its neighboring islands. This island referred to as the rock, has maintained the closest ties to the Netherlands in a cultural sense, making it the most “Dutch” of three sister islands. Also, Curaçaos community of holistic practitioners is thriving! A wide range of healers, life coaches, massage therapists and yoga trainers are born on the island, or have sought out Curaçao as their home away from home. It became clear to Sheila that it was time to create a signature yoga retreat combined with adventure exploring Curaçao. We welcome all fun-loving, wellness seekers and yoga practitioners. Yogaventure Curaçao classes are adapted to all levels of experience and the adventure suits everyone!

Sheila knows how challenging it can be to juggle a career, motherhood and social life while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She has a deep-set understanding from experience that she must consistently check-in to self to moderate over excessive busy-ness to live with a sense of wellbeing, balance and  joy. Through experience of love, family, travel, music, art, food, fitness and yoga, she feels deeply grateful that she has a gift of knowledge to share with a community of like-minded people.
